We have discovered over years of tuning this engine that the standard vacuum system for controlling the wastegate struggles after 25 psi to hold the wastegate closed.

This setup will also allow the 1.6 TD025 turbocharger to be fitted to the 1.4 tdci (which is boost controlled NOT vacuum), replacing the tiny KP35 turbocharger for more performance.

The Kit comes with 3 choices…

Zinc coated bracket only.

Standard hole sizes will accept most after-market actuators should you wish to source your own.

Bracket with 12-15 psi Boost actuator (rod and sleeve reducer.)

Boost actuator can be set to between 12-15 psi depending on how much preload is set. Comes with adjustable rod and sleeve reducer to fit small flapper valve pin.

Bracket with 12-15 psi Boost actuator etc, and Manual boost controller allowing boost to 30 psi.

As above with Manual boost controller allowing small increases in boost up to 30 psi. Easy twist operation to increase/decrease boost level.
